Learn the Basics of Figure Skating

Skaters can expect action, movement and fun, both on and off the ice! Lessons are taught in a group format with a coach-to-student ratio of a maximum 1:10. Skaters progress at their own rate and coaches makes sessions active using teaching aids, upbeat music and a wide variety of activities that create a motivation environment and promote learning. Skaters must demonstrate good forwards one foot glides and backwards skating before entering this program. To book an assessment, please contact us. Once skaters have successfully demonstrated the skills in this program, they may join the STARSkate program and select a coach.
